Ever since it was founded in 1973 as Ski Rossendale, this unique place has been dedicated to providing exceptional skiing and outdoor adventures, serving generations of enthusiasts and newcomers alike – and the best part is, you don’t even need it to snow!
Highly qualified instructors are ready to guide you safely through every step of your journey to success on the slopes – starting with a 50 minute taster session if you’ve never put on a pair of skis before. The Hill has a beginner slope that’s designed for all ages and abilities, including children over 5,
Flexible options to learn to ski are also available using the improver slope, while more advanced training is also available to bring you up to speed for the main slope.A 50-minute private lesson can also be arranged, offering one to one tuition for everyone from a newcomer to a pro.

The Hill is just off Haslingden Old Road – our nearest bus stop is outside Whitaker Park on Haslingden Road, served by 464 bus from Accrington, Bacup and Rochdale, and 481 from Blackburn, Haslingden and Bury. From there, it’s a 10 minute walk up Vicarage Lane to the entrance.
