For a breath-taking view of Darwen and the Moors, take a gentle stroll along Sunnyhurst Wood’s seven miles of paths, towards 86ft-tall Darwen Tower, built at the end of the 1800s to celebrate Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee.
Or, if you fancy an easier walk, why not take a stroll around Bold Venture Park or Whitehall Park? Both are well worth a visit.
