EUREKA

With over 400 interactive hands-on exhibits spread across six amazing ‘zones’, EUREKA National Children’s Museum should certainly be on your to-do list during the school break!

The Escaporium

Need something to challenge the teenagers or young adults in your family? Halifax’s The Escaporium (set at The Mill and The Piece Hall) could be their highlight of the holidays… If they can escape!

There are six perplexing escape rooms available – gather your team, get locked in, find clues and solve puzzles to escape; you have 60 minutes.

Simply hop on any of our buses towards Halifax, hop off at the bus station, and it’s a short walk to either location, but check which room you want to try on their website first.

Galactic Golf

Nothing beats a bit of crazy golf – so go intergalactic at Galactic Golf’s two 18-hole space-themed courses!

Grab your putter and join either the ‘Moon Mission’ to the lunar surface or the ‘Cosmic Question’ course to another planet.

All you need to do is head towards Halifax Bus Station on any of our buses, and it’s a quick 10-minute walk through the town centre to this amazing Adventure Golf park.

Whistlestop Valley Railway

From outdoor play areas and scenic walking routes to mini golf and pedal cars, Whistlestop Valley has something for everyone to enjoy.

Our Denby Darts D1 goes from Huddersfield and Skelmanthorpe to Clayton West, and so does our Holmfirth Explorer X1 from Wakefield. Just hop off at the Whistlestop Valley Railway, and it’s a short walk to the entrance gates.

Leisure Centre Splash Park

The Leisure Centre Splash Park is a family-favourite feature of Huddersfield – and with water flumes, fountains, sprinklers and lazy rivers – it’s easy to see why.

The centre also includes a modern gym, cycle studio, swimming pool, café and even a ‘Dare2Air’ inflatable adventure zone!

You’ll need to book your spot in advance, but if you get any of our buses to Huddersfield town centre, it’ll be only a short 5-minute walk to the Splash Park.

You can also track your bus and buy mobile tickets on our Transdev Go app.
