From 19 July – 6 September, Harewood House takes centre stage with a season schedule packed with family fun! And getting to Harewood is as easy as 1-2-3 with luxurious double-decker buses departing every 10 minutes from Leeds or Harrogate.

Curtains Up! Outdoor Play (Daily): Young visitors can take to the stage, get creative, try their hand at circus skills and enjoy outdoor games by the Lake.

Spot Simba the Pug Trail (Daily): Simba the Pug is hiding all around the magnificent State Floor of Harewood House – can you find this mischievous puppy?

Adventure Playscape and Maze (Daily): Three amazing outdoor play areas await, offering a mix of physical and sensory play for children of all ages.

Snaps Through Time Talk (Every Tuesday): The Collections Care Team talk through the incredible history of photography and answer questions on preserving your favourite pics.

Little Gardeners (Every Tuesday): Sow a seed and take it home to grow yourself, with the help of the Gardens Team.

Adventure Babies: Circus Special (20 July and 17 August): Big Top Storytelling and baby-friendly sensory play for babies and toddlers under four.

Wild Harewood: Family Den-Off (Alternate Mondays/Wednesdays): Work together to build your very own den – and then test how waterproof your design really is!

Thomas’ Terrace School (Select days in July/August): Learn how to care for the statues on the Terrace and help clean the sculptures using real techniques.

Cecil Beaton Staging Icons exhibition
“This summer, Yorkshire’s most vibrant country house, Harewood House Trust, hosts a major exhibition dedicated to the legendary photographer Cecil Beaton (1904 – 1980). Renowned for his innovative theatrical style, Beaton captured some of the most iconic figures of the 20th Century, from Hollywood legends and stars of the West End to the British Royal Family.”
