    Leeds to York, Malton, Whitby & Scarborough

    via Tadcaster, Thornton Dale

    • Not possible to use the stop on the Coastliner 840 & Coastliner 843

      23rd Jul 2026 onwards

      Due to roadworks in York, at Mount Vale Road, Coastliner 840 & 843 and the no 40 bus will not be able to reach The Mount bus stop towards Leeds

      Alternative stops: Mount Vale Bus Stop & Blossom Street

      This is in place until further notice

      We apologise for any inconvenience

    • Delays on 840

      7th Sep 2026 onwards

      Due to roadworks along the route of 840 near Kirby Misperton roundabout & Habton Bridge, Coastliner are experiencing delays on all journeys

    • Delays on the Coastliners

      16th Sep 2026 onwards

      Due to road works starting at Claxton Crosswords, the 840 and 843 may suffer severe delays.
      There are also road works at Broken Bridge also causing traffic issues

    • Diversion on the 31X

      8th - 14th Oct 2026

      Due to a road closure at west end route 31x will need to divert. From 8th October until the 14th October until 18:00.
      Towards York we will be diverting via Piercy End Road and then onto the A170. Kirbymoorside Market Place southbound is the first stop, next stop served Newton Garage, Missing Tinley Garth.
      leaving York we will diverting via West Fields Road and Tinley Garth.
